TS SCERT has developed an 8 Week Alternative Academic Calender [4 weeks Bridge Course +2 weeks previous class remedial teaching + 2 weeks Current year syllabus teaching] for Class III to X along with assessment.
Worksheet related to the themes suggested for their respective classes are attached for the purpose of practice for the student and assessment of pgress by the teacher.
This Bridge Course Programme is initiated for classes III to X to mitigate the learning gap among the students due to closure of schools. Initially, Bridge Course for 4 levels and for 4 weeks was developed. Thereon class-wise remedial teaching for 5th and 6th successive weeks followed by teaching of current year syllabus for 2021-22 for 7th and 8th weeks were
incorporated in Alternative Academic Calendar. Bridge Course levels are
o Level 1 - Classes 3, 4, 5
o Level 2 - Classes 6, 7
o Level 3 - Classes 8, 9
o Level 4 - Class 10
